Mini GT is brand of 1:64 scale models made by TrueScale Miniatures (TSM), a Hong Kong based company. Founded by Director Glen Chou, the Mini GT line offers incredible detail at affordable prices; between $13 to $17 USD at MSRP.
Mini GT also produces and distributes 1:64 scale models for Italian model maker BBR Models. BBR Model possess the licenses to Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Pagani brands. BBR Models are between $18 to $28 USD at MSRP.
Mini GT models offer functional wheels with rubber tires, flexible door mirrors, headlights and taillights, windshields, and painted interior trim. Many of these components are customization because Mini GT models are affixed together on screw in the bottom plate. This provides easy access for end-users.
Mini GT is a huge leap forward in the collector's experience. Collectors are getting 1:18 and 1:43 quality in 1:64 size. To us, we think that's a bargain and a space-saver. There isn't a reason to compare with Hot Wheel Main Line or Premium, because that wouldn't be a fair comparison.
